and so much more!
The Murdock PTA website (www.MurdockPTA.org) is in the process of being revised and content will be moved to the school website. In the future, the PTA website will be a resource to parents and PTA members with the following info:
Parent education info including education funding alerts and actions
PTA membership forms and info
PTA member discounts
PTA meetings, agendas, and budget
PTA fundraisers
Training and tool kits for volunteers
Letterhead, forms, logos
And other PTA-related material or information

SPRING FLING FUNDRAISER BRINGS IN $18,700 AND FULLY FUNDS THE 2011-2012 STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
AND THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who attended the event, bid on items, made a donation, organized a basket of the auction, made personal phone calls to businesses, helped set up and clean up, and helped during the event!
Because of YOU, this fundraiser was a success and helped prevent deeper program cuts at our school this year AND funded a new music program this year!

DON'T BE SHY! Many of the PTA programs are "one-time" events or activities and we provide mentoring and on-the-job training. Is there something you enjoy doing? PTA dues are only $5 per person and anyone can join at any time during the school year! Parents, teachers, grandparents, students, aunts, uncles, and business owners -- anyone who is concerned about the future of children -- can join. PTA proudly supports more than 2 dozen programsto enrich the educational experience at Murdock and build community spirit among families. This is done through the support given by many volunteers and through the two PTA fundraisers.
