The sun is shining, the air is crisp, and somewhere (far to the north) there is snow on the ground and freezing temperatures.
It was my intention to get a newsletter out before the break, but that isn’t going to happen, nor will it be out at any time during the break. With everything that has been going on I’m just not able to get it out. So instead I will post information here and hope that the news gets out.
After the break Murdock will be having the following events going on in January.
January 16
The long awaited Student Directory will be coming out in January too. Thank you to all of the room parents (and parents) who have had a part in making this project happen. I have delayed the release of it hoping to get more response, but I can add classes later. Parents who would like to have their student in the directory can contact me to have them added, if they are not already in there. Look for it around the middle of January. Since the directory will be online, each grade will be separate so that they can be printed out individually.
That is all of the Murdock news I have. So now it’s my turn to blab. Normally I get this out of the way first, but for some reason I just couldn’t do it this time. I have a song going through my head and unfortunately it is stuck on repeat… “What does the fox say…” Thursday my children and I made cookies and my youngest had this song on repeat. After a couple of hours of listening to it I can’t look at the bag of cookies without hearing the song. Of course then I start singing it…. it’s a vicious cycle and after two days I can’t get it out of my head. Hopefully the cookies will be eaten quickly!
Anyways, I hope that everyone has a safe and happy winter break.
